At The Upcycle Story, all services are handled with care and transparency. Please read the following terms before booking your repair or restoration service.

Estimates & Approvals

  • Customers may send their items directly to our studio or request a pickup.
  • Once received, our team will record a detailed video showing the condition of the item before beginning work.
  • The final quotation is confirmed only after physical inspection.
  • Once the quotation is approved, work will begin and
  • cancellations are not permitted thereafter*.

Payments

  • A *50% advance* of the approved quotation is required to start work.
  • Applicable *GST* will be charged on the final invoice.
  • The remaining payment must be cleared before dispatch or delivery.
  • Accepted modes of payment:
  • UPI, bank transfer, or cash* (for walk-in customers).
  • Every product is repaired manually by skilled artisans; timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
  • While approximate delivery dates are provided, *no compensation is applicable for delays* caused by manual work or material dependencies.
  • Service updates and photos/videos will be shared during the process, and final approval will be taken before dispatch.

Additional Terms

  • Any *new damage claimed after receipt* of the item, which was not visible or mentioned in the initial video, will *not be accepted*.
  • Prices and timelines may be revised after physical inspection if additional work is required.
