Terms & Conditions*

At The Upcycle Story, all services are handled with care and transparency. Please read the following terms before booking your repair or restoration service.

Estimates & Approvals*

* Customers may send their items directly to our studio or request a pickup.
* Once received, our team will *record a detailed video* showing the condition of the item before beginning work.
* The final quotation is confirmed only after physical inspection.
* Once the quotation is approved, work will begin and *cancellations are not permitted thereafter*.

Pickup & Delivery*

* Click here for pickup and drop charges (in detail).
* Work will begin *only after the item is physically received* at our studio.
* If any part or accessory (e.g., belt, strap, pouch) is left out, it will be treated as a separate item and *additional charges will apply*.
* Pickup timelines depend on location and partner courier availability.
* The Upcycle Story is *not liable for items uncollected beyond 30 days* of completion.

Payments*

* A *50% advance* of the approved quotation is required to start work.
* Applicable *GST* will be charged on the final invoice.
* The remaining payment must be cleared before dispatch or delivery.
* Accepted modes of payment: *UPI, bank transfer, or cash* (for walk-in customers).

Service Process & Delays*

* Every product is repaired manually by skilled artisans; timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
* While approximate delivery dates are provided, *no compensation is applicable for delays* caused by manual work or material dependencies.
* Service updates and photos/videos will be shared during the process, and final approval will be taken before dispatch.

Additional Terms*

* Any *new damage claimed after receipt* of the item, which was not visible or mentioned in the initial video, will *not be accepted*.
* Prices and timelines may be revised after physical inspection if additional work is required.
