What happens to your piece
The actual order of work, so you know what you are paying for.
- We agree it is the right job first. Recreation is the last option, not the first. If panels can be replaced instead, that keeps more of your bag and we will tell you.
- Usable fittings are stripped and kept. Clasps, chains, buckles, feet, logo plates, sometimes the zip. These are what carry the bag’s identity into the new one.
- The pattern is taken from the original. Panel by panel, before it comes apart, so the new bag holds the same shape and sits the same way on the shoulder.
- You choose material and colour. Held against the original fittings, because the metal and the material have to agree.
- The new body is made. Cut, skived, stitched and structured, with lining and pockets rebuilt to the original layout unless you want them changed.
- Your fittings go on. Polished or replated first if they need it.
What this cannot do
- Fittings that have corroded through cannot be reused, and we show you before we replace them
- A recreation is a new piece using your parts — it is not the original bag, and it is not a factory reproduction of a brand
- Very complex constructions take longer, and we set the timeline with the quote

Questions
What does pickup and drop cost?
Free anywhere in Mumbai. Thane / Navi Mumbai / Panvel: ₹150. Outside Mumbai, anywhere in India: ₹250 by courier, both ways — please pack the item yourself before the courier arrives. Share your full address with PIN code and we will confirm it for your area.
Is this the same as buying a new bag?
No. Your original hardware and fittings go on it, and the shape is taken from your bag unless you ask for a change.
Can I change the shape or size?
Yes. Some customers take a tired large bag and have a smaller everyday one made from it.
What happens to the old body?
It comes back with the new piece if you want it. Some people keep it; most do not.
