What happens to your piece
The actual order of work, so you know what you are paying for.
- We test before we clean. A hidden patch first — inside a strap, under a flap. Leather, PU, PVC, suede and canvas each want a different solution, and the wrong one takes the colour with the dirt.
- Dry dirt comes off dry. Brushed off before any moisture touches it. Wetting grit first is how a clean turns into a scratch.
- Cleaned by hand, by section. Body, handles, base, hardware and lining are done separately. Handles and the base carry most of the grime, and need the most patience.
- Stains are treated one at a time. Ink, oil, make-up and water marks each need their own approach, worked from the edge of the mark inward so it does not spread.
- Mould gets an antifungal treatment. Cleaning removes what you can see. The treatment goes after what you cannot, which is why mould comes back after a home clean.
- Sneakers are whitened and de-yellowed. Uppers, midsoles and laces separately. Oxidised midsoles are treated, not scrubbed.
- Dried in the shade, then conditioned. Never in the sun, never with heat. Conditioning goes back in what the clean took out.
- A protective finish, where the material takes one. It buys you time against the next monsoon.
- Dye that has already run into the lining, or one colour that has bled into another
- Yellowing in a midsole that has crumbled — that is a sole replacement
- Deep scratches and cracks — cleaning makes them more visible, not less; those are a recolouring job
- Smells held in a lining that has broken down, which needs the lining replaced

What does pickup and drop cost?
Free anywhere in Mumbai. Thane / Navi Mumbai / Panvel: ₹150. Outside Mumbai, anywhere in India: ₹250 by courier, both ways — please pack the item yourself before the courier arrives. Share your full address with PIN code and we will confirm it for your area.
How long does dry cleaning take?
It depends on the piece and what it needs. We tell you the timeline with the quote, before any work starts.
Can you remove mould from a leather bag?
Usually, yes. It is cleaned and then given an antifungal treatment, because cleaning alone leaves mould to return. Where mould has marked the colour, the bag may need recolouring as well.
Will dry cleaning remove scratches?
No. Cleaning removes dirt. Scratches and rubbed colour are a recolouring job, and cleaning usually makes them easier to see.
Do you clean suede?
Yes, with a different method from smooth leather. Suede and nubuck are brushed and treated dry wherever possible.
