Replace a part
One part has failed and the rest of the bag is fine. The job is to change that part and leave everything else exactly as it was.

What happens to your piece
The actual order of work, so you know what you are paying for.
- We work out what has actually failed. A zip that will not close is often a bent slider, not a broken zip — a five-minute job instead of a full replacement. We check that first.
- The part is matched. Length, weight, finish and colour, matched to the bag. Where the original brand fitting can be reused, it is.
- Only the seams that must open, open. A handle base does not require the bag to be taken apart. The less that is opened, the more of the original bag survives.
- The new part is fitted. Stitched back through the original holes wherever they will take it, so the bag has one set of stitch marks and not two.
- Closed and checked under load. A handle is pulled, a zip is run, a clasp is worked, before the bag goes anywhere.
- An exact brand-original fitting is not always available; where it is not, we show you the closest match before fitting it
- A handle base that has torn through the leather needs the leather rebuilt first
- Moulded and glued fittings on some bags cannot be removed without marking the body, and we say so before starting

What does pickup and drop cost?
Free anywhere in Mumbai. Thane / Navi Mumbai / Panvel: ₹150. Outside Mumbai, anywhere in India: ₹250 by courier, both ways — please pack the item yourself before the courier arrives. Share your full address with PIN code and we will confirm it for your area.
Can you replace a zip on a designer bag?
Yes. Where the original brand zip can be kept and only the slider changed, we do that instead — it keeps more of the bag original.
Will the new handle match the old one?
It is matched to the bag in colour, weight and finish. Where both handles show wear, doing the pair gives a result that looks right.
Can you replace a chain strap?
Yes, in the finish you choose. The original links are reused where they are sound.
