Luxury bag repair for Muscat

Muscat sits across the water from us, and a great deal of Oman’s Indian community travels to Mumbai through the year. Send photographs first; we quote before anything moves.

Tell us about the piece

Two ways a Muscat piece reaches us

With someone travelling. Most of our overseas work arrives in a suitcase — a parent, a cousin, a colleague flying to India. It costs nothing, and we hold the finished piece until somebody is flying back.

By international courier. When nobody is travelling, we help you arrange it and tell you the cost for your address first. Overseas charges are not fixed — they depend on weight, country and carrier — so we quote, we do not guess.

How it works

  1. WhatsApp us photographs of the piece and of the damage. We are on +91 73044 26072.
  2. We quote in rupees — the work, the timeline, and how the piece should travel.
  3. You send it, by hand with someone travelling or by courier.
  4. We photograph it on arrival and confirm the quote against what we can see in our hands.
  5. The work happens in Mumbai, by hand, with progress photographs.
  6. It goes back to you once it is finished and paid for.

Salt air off the Gulf and fine desert dust together are hard on stitching and hardware. A deep clean and re-plating often does more for a bag than any repair.

Where our Muscat customers are

Qurum, Shatti Al Qurum, Al Mouj, Madinat Sultan Qaboos and Azaiba — though it makes no difference to us where in Muscat you are, since nothing is collected by hand from outside Mumbai.

What we repair

Work from our workshop

Real pieces from our own book, photographed before and after. The item itself is never retouched — only the background and the lighting.

Questions from Muscat

I am in Muscat. How do I actually get the bag to you?

Two ways. Most people send it with family or friends travelling to India — it costs nothing and it is the way most of our overseas work arrives. Otherwise an international courier, which we help you arrange.

What does shipping from Oman cost?

We do not quote a fixed figure, because it changes with weight, courier and country. We work it out for your address and tell you before anything moves. What we will not do is give you a number now and a different one later.

What about customs and duty?

Sending a piece for repair and having it returned is normal, but duties and paperwork in Oman are set by your country, not by us. We declare the piece honestly as a repair item and send you everything you need from the India side.

Why send a bag all the way to India?

Cost and craft. This work is done by hand, and hand work in Mumbai costs a fraction of what the same hours cost in Oman — by people who do nothing else all day.

How do I pay from abroad?

A payment link that takes international cards, or a bank transfer in rupees. You approve the quote first, and nothing starts before that.

How long does it take?

Around 8–10 days of work for most pieces. Shipping each way depends on how the piece travels, and we tell you the full timeline with the quote.
