Everything is restored by hand in one workshop in Andheri West, Mumbai. What changes from place to place is only how the piece reaches us — our van, a courier, or a suitcase belonging to somebody who was flying anyway.
Mumbai — we come to your door
Pickup and drop is free anywhere in Mumbai. Thane / Navi Mumbai / Panvel: ₹150.
Across India — ₹250 courier pickup
A tracked courier collects from your address, and the piece comes back the same way. The restoration is quoted from your photographs before anything is picked up.
International
Pieces reach us from the UK, the Gulf, the United States and beyond — usually with family who are travelling, sometimes by courier. Overseas shipping is quoted for your address; we do not publish a number we cannot stand behind.
Paying us from outside India
We accept international payments by PayPal. Pay in your own currency — we quote in US dollars or pounds, whichever is easier, and PayPal converts it.
- Send photos on WhatsApp. Show us the piece and the areas that need work.
- We quote before anything starts. Restoration and return shipping, priced for your address — you approve it first.
- Pay by PayPal. One link, your own currency, your card or PayPal balance.
The PayPal page shows XMISS — that is the registered business behind The Upcycle Story, the same name on your invoice. For customers outside India only: within India, please pay by UPI or on the payment link we send you.
