What marks it
- Nails and rings. Light scratches on the surface.
- Denim. Blue dye rubs onto light lambskin, especially on the back of a shoulder bag.
- Pressure. Other bags stacked on top leave dents and creases.
Jugaad that works
- Light scratch? Rub it gently with a clean, warm fingertip. The warmth often blends it away.
- Fresh colour transfer? A soft, dry cloth, gently, the same day. Old transfer sinks in.
- Never wet wipes, alcohol, nail-polish remover or a rough cloth. They take the colour off with the stain.
- Dark denim day? Carry it on the other side, or pick a darker bag.
Lambskin needs a light hand. Deeper scratches and set-in transfer are covered with a matched colour touch-up, done thin so the leather stays soft.
